Welcome to sunandstay.com, the direct booking site for a privately owned vacation rental in Point Loma, San Diego, operated by Sun and Stay ("we," "us"). By using this site or submitting a booking request, you agree to these terms.
Booking requests are not reservations
Submitting a request through this site does not create a confirmed booking. Every request is reviewed personally. A reservation exists only once we have approved your request and payment has been completed. Until then, dates remain available to other guests and we may accept or decline any request at our discretion.
Rates, availability, and accuracy
- The availability calendar is synced with our listing on other platforms; we work to keep it accurate, but availability is only guaranteed at confirmation.
- Nightly rates shown on the calendar are estimates and exclude taxes and any applicable fees. The exact total is provided before you pay anything.
- If a pricing or availability error occurs, we may correct it any time before confirmation.
Payment and deposit
Approved bookings are paid through a secure Stripe invoice covering the stay and a refundable security deposit. We never collect payment details on this site. The deposit is returned after check-out, less any deductions for damage beyond normal wear and tear.
Cancellations
Cancellation terms for your stay are stated in your booking confirmation before payment. If you need to change confirmed dates, contact us as early as possible and we will do our best to accommodate.
House rules
- Minimum stay: 3 nights.
- Check-in 3:00 PM · check-out 11:00 AM, unless otherwise agreed.
- No parties, events, or smoking anywhere on the property.
- Pets: one small, well-behaved dog is welcome with the flat $100 pet fee, by prior arrangement.
- Only registered guests may stay overnight.
- Quiet hours out of respect for the neighbors — it's a residential building.
Violation of house rules may result in the termination of a stay without refund.
Your responsibility
Guests are responsible for the property during their stay, including damage caused by guests, visitors, or pets beyond normal wear and tear, and for following all posted instructions and applicable laws.
Site content and disclaimer
The site, including photos, descriptions, drive times, and neighborhood recommendations, is provided in good faith and "as is." Local businesses, hours, and conditions change; we make no guarantee of third-party information. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Intellectual property
Site content, including text and photography, belongs to Sun and Stay or its licensors and may not be reproduced without permission. Guest review excerpts are reproduced from reviews published on Airbnb.

Links to third-party sites (such as Airbnb or local businesses) are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content or practices.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of San Diego County, California.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time; the version posted here with the latest effective date applies.
