Why book direct instead of Airbnb?
Airbnb adds a guest service fee of roughly 14% on top of the nightly rate. Booking direct, you pay the rate you see on the live calendar — on a typical month-long stay that saves you $400 or more. Same condo, same host, same standards.
Is the calendar really up to date?
Yes. The calendar on the booking page is synced live with our Airbnb calendar, so if dates show open here, they are open everywhere.
Is there a minimum stay?
Stays start at 3 nights. From there, any length works — a week, a month, or a whole season. Monthly stays are our specialty.
What happens after I submit a request?
Your request lands directly with Arturo, the host, who reviews every one personally — you'll hear back within 24 hours. Nothing is charged when you submit; a request is not a confirmed booking until it's approved and paid.
How does payment work?
Once approved, you receive a secure Stripe invoice for the stay and a refundable security deposit. No payment details are ever collected on this site.
What's the cancellation policy?
Cancellation terms for your stay are stated in your booking confirmation before you pay anything. If your plans change after confirmation, reach out early and we'll do our best to accommodate.
The Stay
What are check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is at 3:00 PM and check-out at 11:00 AM. Access details and directions are shared after your booking is confirmed.
Is there parking?
Yes — parking details and access instructions are shared after booking confirmation.
Can I bring my dog?
One small, well-behaved dog is welcome with a flat $100 pet fee, arranged before your stay. Bonus: OB Dog Beach, one of America's first off-leash beaches, is ten minutes away.
Is it set up for remote work?
Properly. A dedicated desk, high-speed Wi-Fi, and a quiet residential building — built for real workdays, not laptop-on-the-couch compromises.
How many guests does it sleep?
It's a one-bedroom condo with a plush queen bed — ideal for solo travelers and couples settling in for a longer stay.
Is there laundry?
Yes — a full-size washer and dryer in the unit, which long-stay guests consistently call out in reviews.
The Area
How far is the beach? The airport? Downtown?
Ocean Beach and Dog Beach are about 10 minutes by car, the airport 10, downtown and the Gaslamp 12, Sunset Cliffs 12. Old Town is 5 minutes and SeaWorld 6. The full drive-time list lives on our Point Loma guide.
What's the neighborhood like?

Can you really see the SeaWorld fireworks?
Yes — framed in the bedroom window, most nights in season. Guests mention it in reviews because nobody believes it until they see it.
